WWII Large wire cutters with insulated handles

Good evening,

I've found large wire cutters 18 inches identical to the one shown in the "GI Collector's Guide" by HP Enjames, with insulated handles but from a different manufacturer (and with identification color stripes).

I am unable to find any info on these except the ones in the "GI Collector's Guide", would anyone have more info about it, such as the use (for electrical wire, general use?) and who was equipped with (engineer platoon, general issue?) or pictures showing them ?

I thnk you in advance.

Regards,

Vertol

Interesting, nice stuffs ... Thank you for the image, I understand now the purpose of the thread on the other side (I though it was for a plug to allow the greasing of the gears).

I see a lot of engineer items I've never seen before, may I ask you to make me some more pictures of the crate's content, please ?
