Found this USS MATHEWS , AKA-96, patch in an antique store today. Still in the original Holbein & Hamburger sleeve. 
 

I am not in internet coverage. When did H&H stop making patches and when was this ship decommissioned?

Nice Hilborn-Hamburger, they stopped making USN patches circa 1973-1975.  She was decommissioned in 1968

I’m guessing this patch would have been produced in the early 60s? If earlier let me know
