Inovermyhead Posted May 7, 2022 #1 Posted May 7, 2022 I'm helping my boss restore a 43 m8 greyhound with a Hercules jxd it has a need for some spark plug wires and I have no clue where to get them, the screw onto the distributor. I don't know if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know where to get them?
earlymb Posted May 8, 2022 #2 Posted May 8, 2022 You can probably get the correct wire from the roll and make your own. Try classic car parts suppliers or specific military vehicle parts suppliers, such as Ron Fitzpatrick or GMC CCKW specialists.
Inovermyhead Posted May 8, 2022 Author #3 Posted May 8, 2022 I'll check them out, thank you. Ive made my own wires before just can't find the ends. My boss also has a jeep a scout car and a half track and the all have normal ends, just not the greyhound.
earlymb Posted May 9, 2022 #4 Posted May 9, 2022 The caps are also available loose from the same sources.
Rakkasan187 Posted May 9, 2022 #5 Posted May 9, 2022 If you haven't looked at the G503 website, they may be able to help you. The folks there specialize in military vehicle restorations and other great information. https://g503.com Best regards, stay safe Leigh
