donaldnol Posted May 6, 2022 Share #1 Posted May 6, 2022 i had this for quite awhile a marksman revolver medal it has a 1 year sterling bar that had been attached to it, i would like to know if that is a normal occurrence on bronze medals. USMCR79 Posted May 6, 2022 Share #2 Posted May 6, 2022 Your medal is from the Veteran Corps of Artillery which is/was a quasi military unit much like the Ancient & Honorable Artillery of Massachusetts - The bar was probably what was acquired by the unit the year it was awarded.
