I'm told this is 'linen' and has a 'maybe felt' QM insignia on one side, and 'eyelets'  this is the only pic.  Looks old, maybe even SpanAm or WWI but would like experts insight please, thanks and Happy Easter all.

Nobody?  again this is not a flag but a pennant

Posted

I found one like this a couple years ago. Still trying to figure out what it was for. QM made. 1918 date. It is a pennant but is made in the style of a guidon with a pole sleeve and leather tabs. I have a red one same style along with a go up one examples of the QM transport pennant.

many thanks!  I'd thought  it was an 'unofficial' like for a reunion or vet's wall,' or maybe for an army transpo vessel or for an encampment so unit QM's could find the supply tent.  guess I'll ask at the QM museum + will advise if I find out.  used to have a book on us mil flags but then moved and you know the rest...

anybody else please chime in!
