KevinS Posted April 13, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 13, 2022 Bought this 70th Division liner 7 years ago. The blood dripping of the axe indicates the liner belonged to a 276th IR ''Bloody Axe Regiment'' soldier. I've only seen one other liner in existence with the same drops of blood coming of the axe! I've found a Peter A. L A N G serving in G/276th. L A N G isn't a common name to my knowledge but the liner has no laundry code or ASN. Do you guys think it's safe to say it belonged to the guy I've found?

TheGoose Posted April 13, 2022 Share #3 Posted April 13, 2022 First off outstanding liner!! I would always preface it with you aren't 100% sure, but I think you found your guy! Lang is not a common surname in the U.S..
