Hi,

Can you please help me finding a realistic price for this helmet?

The helmet was overpainted and the previous owner recovered the XV Corps insignia on the shell. I removed the rest of the paint.

It's an early M1 (heat stamp placed at the side of the helmet) with later Westinghouse liner.

Would be great if you can help me!

Best regards,

Lukas

Nice helmet. I've never come across another XV corps helmet or seen one in any footage.

Scarce painted helmet but not exactly "sexy" like infantry division or airborne painted ones.

My guess would be in the USD $300-$400 range?

Hi Pat,

Thank you very much for your reply!

Yes, I am with you. Also I am not a fan of the cleaned look regarding the paint now.

But maybe I will set up a late war mannequin with this helmet one time.

Best,

Lukas

I like it! Are the red markings crossed cannons for artillery?
