Little Posted April 1, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2022 Could someone explain the different types and time period of the LOM Commander medals and neck ribbons? My understanding is: WWII era- numbered BB&B, with hook neck ribbon 1946-49- 1 snap neck ribbon 1951- Balfour, with beveled edges and 2 snap ribbon mid fifties to present- 3 snap ribbon Is the above info correct, partly correct, incorrect? jmpmstr Posted April 25, 2022 Share #2 Posted April 25, 2022 Correct. BBB being the benchmark. I like the Balfour strikes as the beveled edge gives it a great look, and the enamel is impeccable
