Two Post-Vietnam War Helmets

I've had these for sometime now, I had gotten them around October last year in a yard sale close to where I am currently going to college. They were being sold by the daughter of the vet who was cleaning out his house. From what I was told, her father had served in Vietnam in the early 70's, and had served stateside as a Sergeant for the remainder of his career, acquiring these two helmets and keeping them. That is all I was told about his service.

With that, these two helmets are excellent examples of the helmets used after Vietnam, the apple green paint on the helmet still apparent. The first helmet has a Mitchell cover dated to 1974, while the rest of the hardware was made during the war, the shell manufactured by Ingersol with 1 8721.

The second helmet is manufactured by RJ stampings with 6 54. The cover is RDF ERDL, manufactured in 1978 with the helmet elastic band. The liner is post Vietnam as it has the liner suspension assembly, made by Firestone.

@Thrifter_01- I am pretty sure that second M-1 that you have described as a R J Stampings shell is actually a Parish Dana shell. I think there is a very faint '0' in between the '6' and '5' so it is '6054'. The font matches Parish Dana heat stamps too.
