What’s the consensus on this M1C liner that just sold?

Hey guys, saw this at auction about a week ago and have been watching it pretty closely.  The Khaki A-yolks makes me think inland, but it’s really beyond my area of expertise.  Either way, it actually looked pretty good to me, but I’d be interested to hear what the forum has to say.  I didn’t include photos, but it was sold with a 1960’s shell (guessing an Ingersal w/ north and Judd hardware).

From an estate auction in rural SD, there was some other military stuff but mostly hunting gear.

Yes I know the photos are bad, but curios if there’s any telltale signs of good or bad that I’m missing.

No pics of the manufacturer stamp? That would help.

Nada, like I said it came from a small estate auction simply listed as “military helmet”

Burning Hazard

Unpainted A-Washers + para yokes = Inland Jump Liner

Not the greatest condition but still a scarce liner.

Sounds like someone got a killer deal, then!  I was after it at about $80, but with auction fees and my general lack of knowledge that’s about where I stopped.

I believe it ended up selling for $90..

Wow, yeah someone got an insane deal on that liner then. If it wasn’t missing that A washer then your talking about a potentially $2000+ liner in good condition. stinks about the damage, but still a very expensive piece.
