Army Air Corps Chaplain kit

This is a named kit and the name is being researched. The kit belonged to a WW2 Army Air Corps Chaplain assigned HQ transport Carrier Group, I believe based on translating the back of the kit. The kit based on Bob Heskett’s book on Chaplains kits is a protestant field kit and that is also confirmed by the fact that the Chaplain was Methodist.

Thanks Brian,

I’m a Chaplain collector and I don’t have many kits due to space but it’s my second early WW2 kit in the last 2 months.

John,

it’s good to hear from you and hope all is well. The kit is complete and that’s what drew me to it but when it arrived that’s when I found out it was named and that was a big plus. Finding Chaplain helmets has been slow, so this was the next best thing.

Marty,

You take great pictures and a very nice kit including the prayers books from the chaplain's denomination.

Well done.
