Unusual 6th Bomb Wing Patch With Air Pirate Da-Nang On It

I did not think the 6th Bomb Wing went to Vietnam do you think some were TDY.It's a great looker but I want your thought before listing it.Thank You for your time and looking at it. Scotty

I’m personally not a fan of it. Why would they need to put a stabilizer on the back for such minimal embroidery? To me it looks like someone tried to enhance an original US made 6th Bomb Wing patch to make a few extra bucks. Curious to see if anyone else has seen something like this.

I don't care for it either. The aircraft flown by this unit would not normally be in an exposed place like Da Nang. The modification seems odd to me as well, never saw anything like that. Which means nothing, but my gut says not good.
