any of you guys ever encounter one of these?  I have not.  it's merrowed-edge cheesecloth with the rat tail.  I think possibly same 1960s era as when 'alvin' recovered that nuclear bomb (1966).  all comments welcome!    thanks.

Interesting, it's made in the same manner and colors as NUC & NAVSEA patches from the 1970's & 1980's by Swiss Tex

Thanks Mod! So, it appears this one's got a chance to be very rare --  Is that a fair conclusion?    Anyway, of course archive the pix; and meantime I'm waiting to hear back from the Wood's Hole people, will advise....  DW

Also, It may not be specifically for the ALVIN, but for the Program at Woods Hole
