POMZ-2M Anti-Personnel Mine from Afghanistan

A POMZ-2M anti-personnel mine that was brought back by a 3rd SFG soldier from Afghanistan circa 2008/2009 time frame.  As you can see, the body is completely inert.  I added the stick myself as I'd love to make a display out of it.  I am also looking for a replica fuse for the top as well.

You can tell this is a POMZ-2M because of the 5 rows of square preformed fragments and because it has threads on the top for a screw on fuse.

These mines were used by the Taliban as booby traps behind doors, left on paths/trails that allied soldiers travelled, etc.

Very interesting to look at and very reminiscent of earlier ordnance from WW1 and 2 time periods. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your display!
