ArchangelDM Posted March 5, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 5, 2022 A friend contacted me recently with this one, and I’m happy to say I have found what some UNIS collectors would consider the rarest and most difficult piece of 782 gear to acquire, these covers in my opinion are the grail item for Marine collectors. 4 Mar Div 24th Inf Regiment The cover looks to be lightly used but still shows some degree of use. What’s nice is no slits have been cut for the chinstraps, Marines can be seen with covers worn like this overlapping the side of the shell without cutting the holes. Enjoy the pics - Dean

Thanks for sharing. Thanks for taking the time to read the thread, what also seems to be the theme is the UNIS stencil on the beach side, all 5 examples, 3 being mine and 1 being yours is beach side stencil. The other 1 In The UK is also a beachside stencil, very interesting.
