Opinions wanted on these Flight Surgeon Wings by Gemsco.  Definitely not silver.  The Caduceus is off center.

They look ok to me. Most likely post-WW2. Nice wings.

Some good information on Gemsco Flight Surgeon wings and that hallmark in this old post...

Those types of wings are often really thin and can be almost folded in half with your fingers.  I think they are made out of a pot metal/pewter.  I have always suspected that those are not really meant for wear on uniforms, but more than likely something made for surplus stores or as souvenir items. 

 

If they are more robust then they are probably post war.

 

I have always believed that GEMSCO isn't/wasn't (strictly speaking) a wholesale or manufacturer of items, rather it is a retail company that got its merchandise from other sources. You can find all sorts of stuff with that GEMSCO hallmark, from insignia, patches, belt buckles, hats, uniforms, rope, etc.

The Caduceus being off center is most probably a product of mass manufacturing. I expect these would pass inspection.
