cagedfalcon Posted February 14, 2022 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2022 From the family of, Eugene Verle Percy, USMC DOB 10-38-1922 Lantha, MO Severed in the PTO They never heard about the war from her father but do remember seeing this flag at an early age. It stood out to her because of the "blood" on it. I've had no luck finding him with Fold3. Is there another site ot look through? Enjoy, Paul
Ivydiv Posted February 14, 2022 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2022 Ancestry has some of his USMC muster rolls, where he was and who he was with usually every three months Also, his WWII Draft Registration cards are available. This was from a quick search. Dave

cagedfalcon Posted February 14, 2022 Author Share #6 Posted February 14, 2022 Thank you. I forgot about Ancestry.com, figured pay sites would have more information....guess not. Will be putting info in a folder in the area where the flag is displayed.
Ivydiv Posted February 14, 2022 Share #7 Posted February 14, 2022 I access Ancestry through my Library for free. Used to have to go to the Library in person, but due to the Pandemic, I can access it from home using my Library Card information. Still a free site then.
