I’m fairly certain that this belonged to a Navy Officer. I know that these awards are still a fairly common combination for Vietnam, but I was hoping the Legion of Merit w/ V and some of the other awards might help narrow things down. Brig Posted January 29, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2022 It definitely belonged to a Navy officer, who spent at least one tour attached to the FMF in Vietnam, possibly as a medical officer. That said, it's not an unusual enough combo to be traceable, I don't think. The only medal there that might be traceable on Hall of Valor is the LOM.
