ScottG Posted January 27, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 27, 2022 Today Michigan's Military Heritage Museum received some of Chaplain Colonel Janet Hortons items for our collection and a future exhibit. Chaplain Horton was the third female Chaplain in the US Army and the first to attain the rank of Colonel. She served in Korea, the US and was at the Pentagon on 9/11. She was born in Michigan and served the Protestant Faith as a Christ Science Minister. Shown here are her bdu top, field grade officers dress cap, War College Diploma, and a Chaplain Corps plaque. We look forward to doing the display and working with her in the future. Scott
