patches Posted January 24, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2022 Finally found a service photo of Neville Brand, looks like it's from a unit yearbook, 1942 early war??? Note the black neck tie. The DIs does not look like the unit he was in in the ETO, the 331st Infantry, so maybe Brand was assigned to another division stateside before being transferred to the 83rd Infantry Division, something common enough for sure in WWII.
