Neville Brand WWII

Finally found a service photo of Neville Brand, looks like it's from a unit yearbook, 1942 early war??? Note the black neck tie. The DIs does not look like the unit he was in in the ETO, the 331st Infantry, so maybe Brand was assigned to another division stateside before being transferred to the 83rd Infantry Division, something common enough for sure in WWII.

The portrait we discovered is from the 1941 yearbook for the 33rd Division, Brand's unit then is F Co 129th Infantry
