Elliott R Posted January 16, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 16, 2022 so I have this M18A1 dummy round that I got from a surplus store. I only have original ww2 things in my collection, so I don't know if I should get rid of it or keep it. Does anyone know what year those were being used? Thanks Link to comment

Charlie Flick Posted January 17, 2022 Share #4 Posted January 17, 2022 These Drill cartridges were used in WW2 and thereafter for training purposes. They were manufactured by the Excel Foundry and Machine Co. of Fall River, Massachusetts. They don't have a lot of value. I have noticed that Liberty Tree Collectors has had them for sale at $14 for single rounds. The photos below are from Liberty Tree. Charlie Link to comment
