45govt Posted January 14, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 14, 2022 Here is a different item, there are references to having candle practice in the barracks when the weather was too bad to shoot outdoors at normally northern posts. A strong primer was used and if the aim was correct the shot would snuff the candle, there was no bullet needless to say. sorry can't remember off hand what the distance was, but someone may know that is viewing.
