Found these picking through a patch bin. Neither glow, but the black cat patch is either in mint condition or a repro I suspect, its quite clean. The blue signal patch has cheesecloth backing, school or rate patch possibly? Any help is appreciated!

Basic Rifleman

The second is from the 66th Infantry Division - it's the earlier 1st style. The JASCO looks good to go, the 66th ID may be a repro as your gut told you. Maybe a patch expert can say for sure.

The first is a very nice 593rd Joint Assault Signal Company (JASCO) patch. Nice find!

The other one is the leaping panther version of the 66th Infantry Division patch

Thank you both very much! @Basic Rifleman , I'll admit I had a mini heart attack when I researched that JASCO patch after you identified it, as I had yet to actually purchase it. My infinite wisdom wanted to ID the patches before buying even though the JASCO was only $4. Needless to say I made that antique store my first priority this morning haha!

Interesting, so searching both unit's patches brings up this patch design. Was it used by both units, or has there been some misassociation with either unit in the past?

There is no known connection between the two units sharing this insignia, although it was not unk during WW 2. Everything I know about the patch is 593rd JASCO.

Maybe contact Stein and ask him where he obtained the info.

Forgot to add - the duties, missions, and responsibilities were completely diff between the two units.  932nd Sig Svc Bn was a signal service company, land based, and the 593rd was amphibious and provided ship to shore guidance. It was attached to a number of units, with docs involving the 96th ID and its ops on Leyte and Okinawa

I don't own Mr. Stein's book. The only online reference to the 932nd using the same patch is from a high volume eBay seller that specializes in reproduction items - they have 24,000 active listings, so it's entirely possible they got one wrong, or maybe used said reference book, that also may have gotten one thing wrong. This is not a criticism in any way.  Information and resources in text and digital form are constantly evolving - at least that's what my University said when it was time to buy the latest edition text books each year:)

The 932nd was part of a tactical air command during WWII and as tredhed2 stated above, they were strictly a land-based unit. So it makes little sense for part of their logo to include an eagle and anchor. I can't find any evidence to support this patch ever being used by the 932nd.

You scored big with this JASCO patch. It appears original and in extra fine shape too... Enjoy it!

ccording to arry Jason Stein's Book, the top one is 932d Signal Bn, Plate 56, #43

Mr. Stein"s book: " during WWII, the 932D was attached to the Third Army and supported the XIX Tactical Air Command, which was attched to the Eighth Air Force in Normandy.  After the war, the unit operated radar sites in Iceland."  Either way, sounds like a great find.
