I had posted in “ What’s it worth”, no replies so I bit the bullet and made an offer. Accepted. Capt Olson’s WW2 officer’s footlocker. Researching the unit- 274th Armored Field Artillery Battalion- part of Patton’s 3rd Armored, from St Lo , across Europe, relived the 101st at Bastogne, 275 days in combat, the unit used the antiquated M3 105mm Priest, the footlocker reflects their history. Beat up, salty. Have a look.
