Thrifter_01 Posted January 6, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2022 So a while back, I had posted a Tropical Combat coat that was ID to have been used by pararescue personal. Well, after sometime I had gone back to that flea market after News Years Day and to the same vendor that had sold me the coat. Lord and behold, in a pile of clothes, there were more pararescue items that he had put out that day. In that pile was the full CWU-14/p jacket and pants with pad inserts, and black dyed Tropical combat uniform, the shirt I found out might be an Okinawa Test sample, thanks to the forum. Best of all, the pads in the jacket had a written last name of Jaso for possible ID. Also found but not shown was an American made vest with pouches on it, since I believe that qualifies as field gear. The new year has only just begun, but I think I won't be able to top this. For the suit, the jacket and pants both have 5 pads in each of them, written on the back or front, the placement of where they should be placed. First the jacket. Dated for 1974. The pants. The black dyed Combat Uniform, while not modified in the same way like the last one, I do believe to have belonged to the same person. First the coat, sized at Medium Regular, has been dyed thoroughly, no traces of the original OG color. Has a velcro patch sewn on it. No date For the pants, the OG color is showing through in certain parts. Dated to 1969
