EEMueller Posted January 4, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2022 I know that the U.S. purchased helmets from Britain, but would have the early rimless Brodies been part of that deal? I'm not certain when they stopped producing the raw edge helmets and changed over to the rolled rim. Thanks.
aef1917 Posted January 4, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2022 They turn up from time to time. I have a few, and The Rooster just posted a couple he has.
doyler Posted January 4, 2022 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2022 I found one locally at an auction. The house it came out of was built in 1915 vut never could tie any owners to the helmet. Figured maybe a relative left it or a random item a kid may have gotten after WW1 from a neighbor? the same family lived in the home until it sold a few years ago.
