The Lyman Diamond

Found on old projector film.

Photos may not have anything to do with one another.

Taken approximately in the 50’s.

Many info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Can you confirm if film was shot inside or outside the United States? Photos strike me as possibly being from locations in Italy or as easterneagle 87 mentions, Greece.

The Lyman Diamond

Most definitely footage is outside of US.

I have numerous more to post. Uniforms/ equipment/ etc. all on  film.

4 brothers all served.

Daddy and

grandpa- (WW1) Have phots of this as well.

I take care of the last one left.

He is 93. Charles. (Navy)

Found these photos and more on film in closet.

The oldest brother

Lee Washington Garner Jr (Army)

gave his life in WW2.

He was 18.

Just wanting to share before it’s lost.

If these are on the same reel as the USS Macon shot you posted in an earlier post, all of this may have been filmed by a sailor while on board that ship during a Mediterranean cruise. It looks like the Macon made cruises during the 1950s to the Atlantic, North Atlantic, and Mediterranean. Top two mages could be from in and around any of those ports the Macon might have visited in the Med. Just my opinion though. Bottom photo is identified as Roman Ruins in Greece. Looks like they have done a considerable amount of excavation and restoration since.

He was a sailor.
