1950s I believe.

That would be the heavy cruiser USS Macon.

As she saw the better part of 20 years of service, I think a car guy / gal would be able to narrow down the timeframe of this photo by dating the vehicle in the foreground.

From the other photos (American cars) I believe it was around 1952-54.

Looks like a 1946-48 Woody Wagon, probably a Ford.
