Did the 26th “yankee“ division ever wear helmet scrim on their helmets

I was just asking since I am starting a 26th infantry division impression if the soldiers were ever issued scrim for their helmets.

 

I have a bunch of it and I want to use some of it.

Unlikely, in fact Scrim was hardly used at all, even in Normandy and the push north in the late summer early fall..
