skir Posted December 29, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2021 A small lot of USAF 18th TFW patches from a former commander. Am happy as finding color USAF patches in the wild is getting harder as the years go on.
Steindaddie Posted January 1, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 1, 2022 Great haul! The assorted "gaggle" patches are especially nice.
1st Sgt CES Posted April 17 Share #3 Posted April 17 Nice find---- color and subdued US Air Force patches are getting harder to find all the time---- I remember giving the women at the tailor shop on base a box of candy and they would save all the patches that people did not want back when they changed units

atb Posted April 20 Share #5 Posted April 20 In Korea, incoming troops had their new unit SSI sewn on at a shop near the Replacement Depot (Or was it the Detachment, anyway, we called it the "RD.") on Camp Coiner. I would buy bags of cloth insignia removed from uniforms for a few dollars. This was in 1983-84.
