A-1A flight shirts: pics/info?

I’m not very knowledgeable about the 1950s USAF A-1A flight shirt. I’d love to know with what they were worn, see real pics of them in the field, etc. Were flight jackets worn atop them? Would they ever be worn “around” like the Class B wool work shirt? Would one wear insignia on them? Etc. etc. etc.

 

I know next to nothing about them and would love to learn more to see if they would complement my current early 50s USAF impressions. Thanks so much!!

the A-1a is the brown wool version?

I would like to see pics of them as worn also

Yeah, I used to see them around all the time but never really saw them photographed much in use.
