mds308 Posted December 26, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 26, 2021 This patch was found in a small men's travel jewelry box. There were some assorted WWII pins and this patch. It's a used patch showing old stitching holes and thread. Any ideas on this eagle? Does its construction provide some clues? It measures approximately 2 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches tall. For a hat? Thanks for the help.
Chris Posted January 5, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2022 Is there any way you could add a shot of the other items that were with it? That could help.

I'm still working on buying the group. If I remember correctly, there were common EGA pins but there was a WWII Bakelite EGA. I think there was a ruptured duck. Nothing unusual or uncommon. This patch was the one thing that stood out. Thanks.
mds308 Posted January 13, 2022 Author Share #6 Posted January 13, 2022 Someone told me they thought it was for an Eagle Squadron (US Pilots in England early in the war). I snagged this pic off the Net.
