Amusing "Unauthorized" DUI on a 1950s Era Fatigue Cap

I recently found this 1950s era US Army fatigue cap with a clearly unauthorized DUI on it.

I would say these insignia's are added to this particular Ridgway Cap, as that is a subdued PV2 Collar Rank, these ranks coming out in like late 1968, and the FTA Slogan wasn't as far as we know in vogue in the 1950s early 60s.
