sundance Posted January 1, 2022 Share #26 Posted January 1, 2022 Never seen a Knife Crafter's throwing knife - that's really neat. The only thing I know about Knife Crafter's knives are the Civil War sword knives.
martin08 Posted January 1, 2022 Share #27 Posted January 1, 2022 I have many, some are like new. But a JPSK with markings from the 1961-1966 period with some honest wear makes for a valid show of a Vietnam War-time blade and sheath. Its character is a good reminder why knives are such necessary military items.
SARGE Posted January 1, 2022 Author Share #28 Posted January 1, 2022 More nice items found in 2021. Some are mint in the box and some are well used. The one you like the best is not always the most expensive or rare example. Nice finds in 2021.

I figured I would share this knife also that I added to my collection this year. This Case V42 would be second favorite addition to the pair of Nichols I posted earlier. OverTheTop_1916 Posted January 22, 2022 Share #38 Posted January 22, 2022 I had a great year with bayonet collecting. Don't collect a whole lot of U.S. bayonets, but here's a U.S. made one. French M1914 manufactured by Remington...in pristine condition, so I'm ecstatic about it.

Welcome to the forum, interested in the bayonet you have shown, can't think that I have seen one before, however I do have an almost similar but shorter bayonet made by Remington for ' Republica Mexicana ' no date given on it, 13 inches end to end. . . . regards lewis. .. Mr.Jerry Posted January 28, 2022 Share #47 Posted January 28, 2022 I was contacted by a guy that saw my article on the Wisconsin Vocational Knives, as he had this one that he had been given. I really wanted to add this one to my collection as it has some unusual features like the blade fuller, and a clip point scabbard. It might have even be made in Eau Claire, WI (most were made in Fond Du Lac or Ft. Atkinson) It took a little convincing, but I was able to "make him an offer he could not refuse". Hi Tom, Sorry to say I was hoping to find a photograph in my files of an identical one from my collection I sold at auction in 2019, the front of the scabbard had been decorated most likely by the then owner ' Egypt 1916 ' regards lewis. ..
