DUSMCN Posted December 15, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2021 I was recently given the honor of taking charge of some of the insignia belong to 1LT James E. "Dick" Wright. He was a member of L Co, 3/120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division prior to his involvement in the war. He was called to active service and sent to the 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. He was killed in action around Dornot, France along the Moselle on September 10, 1944. He was listed as missing, assumed killed for years, until the DPAA identified his remains and brought him back to the United States this year, burying him in his hometown. Not pictured is a screwback 120th DI and another 30th patch.
