I just wanted to share this one. I managed to buy this one in the North of France. A fantastic helmet, great history and for me a great story of how i found this one and meet some amazing people. In the front and in the back you can see 'ENG' written in blue but faded. Can anyone help me to find out the meaning of this blue stenciled lettering or is this an abreviation for engineer?  There is also written in the front with a pencil : " US ARMY" probably made by kids. The liner chinstrap wasn' t original from this helmet.
