Army Civil War Campaign Medal Inquiry

I’m struggling to find the contractor for this guy. It is unprefixed number 1805. The boxy label used to be in tact and matches the rim number. I’ve not been able to find this number range in my copy of the Medal Letters although I feel like I read it was a Mayer contract. Any way to determine or can anyone confirm or deny? Thank you in advance

Joseph Mayer Co. had several contracts during those years as shown in the NML.

If the brooch is a wrap type with a locking round catch that drops straight in (rather than hooking under), it is a Mayer piece.

I have #1815 which came with a tag saying it was from the 6/5/33 Mayer contract, but I don't know the source of that info.

Short of finding more box label info, we're stuck on this series.

Thank you for the info. It is exactly as you described for a Mayer piece. I suspect might be near or same contract and year. I appreciate you validating my memory.
