For your viewing displeasure - Call of Duty Vanguard uniform clusterfoul

I was on YouTube watching gameplay from the new CoD Vanguard game, specifically from the Battle of Midway mission. In the beginning of the mission they're in the pilot mission briefing room of a carrier and the below image is one of the NPCs you walk past when leaving. Mind you this is in the Pacific, aboard a Navy carrier during the Battle of Midway.

Hey now at least he doesn’t have both Sergeant’s stripes and Officer rank. I’ve seen that in more games, movies, etc than I can count.

What about the oval with recon wings. Love it! I like the purple piping as well on the hat.
