4th Miss Cav Posted December 2, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 2, 2021 Some more figures I painted years ago. I used these when I used to wargame. Each unit was painted similar so it would be easier to tell them apart on a wargame table. These are 25mm Dixon miniatures, about an inch tall, with a combination of Vallejo and Musket Miniature paints. Link to comment
4th Miss Cav Posted December 2, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted December 2, 2021 I folded over masking tape to make the flags. you can't tell in the pictures but it gives it a fabric look when you put a wash on. Flags are all hand painted. Below is a battle flag and a state of Mississippi flag. Link to comment

sundance Posted December 2, 2021 Share #5 Posted December 2, 2021 Wow, those are works of art especially if they are only about an inch tall. Your skill (and eyesight) is to be commended. Link to comment

Custermen Posted December 4, 2021 Share #7 Posted December 4, 2021 Great work. I decided 25mm is too large for a big battle. I haven't war gamed in years but I painted a few stands. Now I'm ready to sale them if I could find out how to link up with a buyer and how to ship all these heavy lead. I don't even know what size they are; 15mm sounds about right. BTW, my gr-gr-grandfather served in the 5th Mississippi Cavalry. He served with Chalmers and then later under Forrest. Link to comment
