WWII Paratrooper helmet chinstrap question

This is listed as a WWII airborne helmet, but has the fabric chin cup; I thought the WWII ones all had the leather chin cup; when were these introduced in WWIi?

By the end of WWII, this style was used. Maybe it's the lighting but the straps look like the darker Olive drab #7. So, I am thinking this is a post WWII set.
