Very nice collection of bags, I'm yet to find the 14-450 bag for my collection, seems impossible here in England, in over 8 years of collecting Corpsman related items I have never found one.

Nick.

That stinks. But I do know that there is one of FJM44 and is for people up in Europe and England. Also thanks for the kind words.

The corpsman bag has snaps to make it a smaller size while the medic bag has laces. The corpsman bag has Lift The Dots to close it while the medic bag has a single strap.

.

Hi Jerry,

I have followed this thread with great interest, sadly I couldn't contribute as I sold off all my Marine / USN corpsman equipment 2018/2019,

I read with interest the comments and photos of the bags with leather straps, and the two comparison bags you have shown above, I have kept a couple of my medic bags, suspenders and pouches and one of the examples I kept has a leather strap closure.  I also kept this pair of suspenders with the two tone web edging as they differed from most examples found . . . . . . . .

Hi everyone, just wanted to update this thread with my newly acquired S-14 075 Parachutist First Aid Kit, which basically completes my corpsman collection. Hope y’all like the display too.

Superb, are all the pockets full of medical items?

Nick.

Sadly Don’t have all of the bandages. But I do have a few that the seller said he got with it. It has a few snaps gone but is still an amazing find!

The hunt begins for the contents, the joy of finding that elusive piece. I have the majority of the contents for one of these but no pack to put them in. I will find one, one day.

It definitely is an amazing find.

Nick.

Here is an example of a Corpsman Knapsack (Not Modified) it has a Red Cross on it. From GI Concepts AKA Jeff Warner:

Here’s a very cool photo of 2nd Marine division corpsman with Stenciled ranks and one with a painted haversack just like the one discussed above. Overall a very interesting and cool photo of corpsman of the marines.

2nd litter bearer from the left has a 14-280 bag on his back. This is a cool photo.

There also seems to be a 14-450 bag on the stretcher.
