Ardennen1944 Posted November 18, 2021 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2021 Who can help me please? I am seeking for a picture from Wilbur L Willett. He was taken POW during the Battle of the Bulge 16th December 1944. He was in Company B, 60th Armored Infantry Battalion, 9th Armored Division (according to the book Strike, fight, and conquer : 60th Armored Infantry Battalion, personnel list, August 1944-May 1945). There is another book called Strike, fight, and conquer : the history of the 60th Armored Infantry Battalion in World War II, July 1942-October 1945. Is there a member who has the book? Is there perhaps a picture from him in this book? Wilbur's was born in Acocokeek, Maryland. Wilbur worked for the Naval Public School and married, but apparently had no children. Wilbur died in 1981 and is buried in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was taken as a prisoner and then released and settled in Missouri, USA.
