oakleaf777 Posted November 15, 2021 #1 Posted November 15, 2021 Any ideas about the origin/ manufacturer of this Haitian Campaign medal? Very high-quality strike with excellent detail on a thick un-numbered planchette. It has a very unusual copper-like color with some rainbow toning to the medal which I’ve never seen before. Thanks for any info.
jmpmstr Posted January 5, 2022 #2 Posted January 5, 2022 Hard to tell from the photos but based on the suspension ring and tone of the badge I’d submit it’s a Davison strike possibly sold through Studley.

Agreed - hard to tell the strike from the photos... I LOVE that rainbow toning though!
Reforger Posted January 28, 2022 #4 Posted January 28, 2022 I would say the color comes from polishing.
