Dear Militaria Collectors,

Hey guys hope you are well. I got this dog tag at a militaria show in Illinois and can’t find anything on the soldier. I would appreciate any help with this research.

Simon, that man has a different name.

Enlistment records are incomplete, hence why you couldn't find the record with correct asn.

Taj your best bet is to look at locals who are of military age with that name on findagrave and then try and dig into each.  That's a tall order for a common name though, you'll never be certain you have the right guy.
