Mark K Posted November 5, 2021 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2021 US Advanced Combat Helmet ( ACH ) in field used condition it was devoid of all tags and the stampings and the dome is obscured by strips of Velcro, I did manage to pull the Velcro back a we bit and remove a bit of contact cement to reveal a small production label I have found but two other references on line that indicate this type of label can be found in helmets produced by MSA in this time period it is so marked ( S1GVTE-26 and dated to 2007--09-05 )... It is sporting a Team Wendy Cam Lock Retention System and upgraded with Team Wendy Epic padding and has been outfitted with a low profile universal shroud and a Norotos Rhino nvg mount.. It has seen a fair bit of service and has been over painted at least twice in its service career and I am of the opinion the camo was applied by painting through a laundry bag in the field.. There are remnants of removed Velcro strips on the exterior of the helmet body that have been painted over... Regards Mark
No Quarter Posted November 29, 2021 Share #2 Posted November 29, 2021 Great helmet. I have one with similar camo patterns as well as an M4 magazine with the same pattern. I read that the pattern is common with SF and 75th Rangers. Jacob
