Zaxx Posted October 30, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 30, 2021 Greeting's, As Most of you have probably seen, I have found What appears to be an awesome Real Indian Wars Campaign Medal. It has an M.N.o # 1568. They say it cant be traced. My question is this. Now When I found this Medal It came with several other from later years but. It was grouped with a real Campanas De Filipino 1888-1889 Silver Medal. Also not traceable. But it has its on recipients list. Now Is it not possible that one could go through both rosters and find a match. Granted i had a couple of hits on the name. Only one was a match for name, rank, birth ,division, rank. etc. It was the only name that was a complete match. I referenced pages https://www.army.mil/medalofhonor/citations3.html For Indian Wars, and 1st Montana Volunteer Infantry Roster https://www.spanamwar.com/1stmontanaroster for The Campanas De Filipinos 1888-1889 Only one that it could be is Private George Miller Company B. I am probably being stupid . I don't collect this kind of stuff so forgive my ignorance. I would really like to know to whom this honors were bestowed. Any help at all would be awesome. I appreciate your time. Any suggestions , tips. or other methods I could use to identify if no? Sincerely, Zach
