Leroy Simpson Posted October 25, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2021 Seeking assistance for any information regarding the Antil Airfield located West of Townsville in North Queensland Australia. Sadly there is a extremely limited amount of information, photos or first hand accounts relating to this airfield and its use. This is surprising considering it was used during the opening stages of the Allies striking back against the Japanese and I am hoping to fill any gaps in what is available. This field was used during 1942 by the units listed below and any assistance would be hugely appreciated. Please accept my thanks.
