American Heritage Posted October 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 24, 2021 This grouping to a Veteran with Korean War Service sold recently on ebay and I did not get it but hopefully someone here did. The Veteran was a dual member of Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) and he received the corresponding War cross of each organization to show campaign service. The medal at far right is very interesting and I have actually been looking for one; it is the Pennsylvania German Society Medal and I have included some images and info below. It features the crest of the William Penn family on the breast of the double headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire which preceeded Germany. This is a fantastic medal group, wished I had it. If anyone got it, would like to hear more about it.
KevinBeyer Posted October 25, 2021 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2021 I was watching this one, too. And, I did not know of the Pennsylvania-German Society before now. Thank you very much for providing this information. Kevin
