kfields Posted October 23, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2021 I now have two 1911's and one A1. Now I'm interested in acquiring the original military published manuals and would love to see what you have and what's out there. This is the only one I have, revised in 1914. Cover is kinda rough but I suspected the early manuals can be tough to find so I bought it. I found this in an antique store in Brookville, Ohio. I had to ask if he had anything interesting like this and then he pulled it out from behind his desk. Kim

Nack Posted October 25, 2021 Share #4 Posted October 25, 2021 Here’s another one. A little different, from February 1918 it appears.
kfields Posted October 29, 2021 Author Share #5 Posted October 29, 2021 Thank you for the comments. Now to find a 1918 version like Nack's. Oh and maybe the 1912 version, and any between the war versions, and then a WW2 version....
ccyooper Posted October 31, 2021 Share #6 Posted October 31, 2021 You need to add one of these lithographs to your collection. I think they were made in the 1936-8 time frame by the ordnance department. Sort about the reflection.

dalbert Posted January 23, 2022 Share #11 Posted January 23, 2022 kfields, Please see the link below to a post I made in 2010 about my M1911 manual collection, as well as the 1938 M1911 poster. I believe I've added a couple more manuals since then. http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12271 David Albert [email protected]

kfields Posted July 3, 2022 Author Share #14 Posted July 3, 2022 Picked up a 1940 dated FM yesterday at the flea market for ten bucks. I'm continuing to look for the other manuals to add to my mini-collection!
